The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection - EP09 Is Not Working

Hello. Have you try to repair the game ? (Left click on the game in Origin and select repair) Or have have you try to reinstall it ? EP09 is the code for the game Apartment Life I think.

Yes. I choose repair as well as having it check for updates, the results were the same - doesn't work. Recently, I uninstalled it (no use having a dead game take up 12GBs of HD space).&nbsp; Prior to that, I tried running the game in compatiblity mode for XP.&nbsp; Hopefully, someone will figure out what causes this to happen or EA/Origin/Maxis will introduce an update to repair it.&nbsp; I have seen others post the same EP9 not working in various forums (The Sims 3 site, MTS ect) so there is definitely something happening behind the scene to cause this.&nbsp; Thank you for your suggestion though.
