The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on EA App Desktop

I had sims 2 on my origin account, but now that I ended up downloading the new EA app.. It's not showing up on my library. I want to be able to play sims 2 as well..

I´m finally capable of downloading The Sims 2 from the EA app and I´ll let you all know if I can play, but I think this is going to work¡¡

Edit: Ok, this is...weird. It says that, in order to install The Sims 2 Store Edition, I need to have The Sims 2. Every "-.exe" that I have, leads to this.

Any ideas?

I have no ideas to contribute but am also having this issue and would love a workable solution from EA

At this time there is no word from EA about older games and EA App. Please remember that many of these games are 32 bit and have not been updated to run 64 bit. 

So what? They can make a compatible port.

I've played with The Sims 2 in a modern PC without problem, so I don't get why it should be a problem to just put it in the EA app.

I've downloaded the game from the EA app with all the files but it keeps saying that The Sims 2 must be installed in order to play (is a strange loop, yeah), but it says nothing about compatibility issues.

We just have to wait, I guess... 

I was told there's not record of me having purchased the Sims 2 so there's nothing they can do for me unless I have an order number.  I have two Sims 3 games missing as well.

Having the same issue, and I HAD The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection in Origin, but in the EA App I have The Sims 2 Double Deluxe.

This can be replicated by being forced to switch from Origin to EA App - had I known this would happen, and I'd be unable to play a game I own, I wouldn't have installed the EA App. 100% occurrence; I expect to see the game I own (The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection) instead of an inferior bundle.

I'm days trying to download the game, but it does not work. They told me that's not available anymore. That's so disrespectful... even because I had Sims 2 UC and no it shows Sims 2 DD
