That's really odd, I'm not seeing that you've ever had The Sims 2 on the account you're posting with however.
Is it possible you had an account merger performed in the past? That's the only situation I can think of that would remove certain content from an account but even in that scenario it's extremely rare.

Is it still possible to download The Sims 2 from the EA app, if owned? I have the base game and all expansions on disc (I still have all the license keys) and I'm looking into ways to get it running on Linux, using Lutris. Seems like it'd be easier through the EA app, since Lutris supports it. I never owned The Sims 2 on Origin and there doesn't seem to be a way to purchase it. Is it still possible to activate Sims 2 licenses on the EA app?

@e65d75be7675ecc1 , I'm afraid you're out of luck. The game was retired in 2018 and if you didn't claim the CD keycodes on Origin prior to that time, there is no way to do so now. You'll need to find an external disk drive and try to install the game that way.
