THE SIMS 3 — DEFINITIVE EDITION?
I would like to suggest that EA and Maxis consider creating a The Sims 3 Remake / Definitive Edition.
I don't mean simply re-releasing the original game. I mean rebuilding The Sims 3 on a modern 64-bit engine while preserving the features that made it so special
The goal would not be to replace a future new Sims game. Instead, it would be a way to preserve and modernize one of the most beloved games in the franchise.
For many players, The Sims 3 still feels unique because of its open world and Create-a-Style system. A modern version could keep what made the original special while removing the technical limitations of a game released in 2009. Imagine being able to play The Sims 3 with its original gameplay and freedom, but on modern hardware without the old engine limitations
I believe this could appeal to both longtime Sims 3 players and new players who never experienced it.I would genuinely love to see a project like this from Maxis.
Players, would you buy The Sims 3 Definitive Edition if EA rebuilt it on a modern engine while keeping the open world and Create-a-Style?
