The 1920x1080 resolution differs from all others with a smaller UI and a more zoomed-out camera, also at resolutions higher than 1920x1080, the blue background in map mode is missing, and there is just blackness around the map
I don't use any mods or CC in my game
I confirm this is what it looks like for people running Windows at all kinds of resolutions which involve 1080 (1920x1080, 1440x1080)

UI is so tiny in 1080 it makes people's eyes sore.
In the link you can see the map and creating-a-sim is way too small too compared to other resolutions.
