I just bough the game on Steam. After the first try launch it freezes on the EA logo, then crashes and says "Unable to start the game, error code 366." I've tried reinstalling, manual installs, changing launch options, so on and so forth. My last effort is to use the CD key from steam to regrister the game with EA and try playing it through the Origin client. Any help would nice because I would like to just play it through steam.

Yesterday I got the sims Medieval gamecode for Origin from G2A. I've installed it with the Origin client but when I try to start the game it says 'Unable to start the game Error code 366'. I've already tried reinstalling and updating the game but nothing works. Any suggestions on how I can play? Or maybe a workaround so I won't have to use the Origin client (if that helps...)

I figured it out! All I had to do was go into game properties on Origin and disable Origin in-game, then it launched!
