The Sims Medieval Progress Not Saving

Question

Hi,I've been having the same problem with getting the Sims Medieval to work since I upgraded to a new laptop with a 12th gen CPU, and finally got it to work after using the Alder lake patch. However, it doesn't save anything when I play, played for 3 hours, saved and quit then went back on it and nothing, right back to the very start. I wondered if there's anything I can do about this?ThanksEdit: updated title for clarity -mate54

Do you have an antivirus installed that could be flagging the game, or OneDrive active, which might prevent saving changes to the game's user data folder?

@mate54 I have Norton 360 for gamers on my laptop and I'm sure I do have onedrive on here as its linked to my university email.
