The Sims Medieval Testingcheatsenabled not working

i type in the testingenabled true cheats and its edited in the command.ini everytime i type it in the cheat console it says "unknown command" has anyone else have solution if they found one also mods doesn't seem to work made a Mods folder then made a Packages folder to put them in downloaded some mods but nothing

  • @awaphui , have you used the Control + C + Shift keys to open the cheat window in the game? That's the only place I know to enter cheat commands for most any Sims game.

    Yes i did it just says "Unknown command" when i do 

  • @awaphui are you sure you typed in the command correctly? I have to check myself when I type in commands to Sims 2 and 3.

    yes i did im playing The sims medieval can't get it to work for the life of me

  • Ok. I had to Google this one. Compared to the normal cheats, you there are extra steps you have to take to enable testing cheats. You’ll have to edit the .Uni file in your game 

  • The only cheats I can get to work are full screen, kaching and motherlode.  Nothing else will work.

    @ASimFemale30 , I think those are really the only that will work these days. Testingcheats does require an edit of the Options.ini file, but does not always work.
