The Sims Medieval, Unable to redeem product code on Origin
Dear Support / Internet / Helpful people,
I am writing cuz i am in need of assistance!
We were moving places and upon transporting our belongings my GF found 2 retail copies of "The Sims Medieval" and "The Sims Medieval Pirates and Nobles". She was eager to reinstall the game and play it for old times sake since it was her childhood game, but the game wouldn't run. Since it's and EA game i suggested that she goes to Origin and redeems the game keys there, which works 99% of the time. Unfortunately it did not work this time. The DLC "The Sims Medieval Pirates and Nobles" got redeemed without any issues and added to her game library, but the base game showed errors constantly and would not get added to her library. I have tried talking to EA customer support twice, but we weren't able to make the game appear on her account.
So my question for everyone willing to help is, is there a way to add the game onto her account, a force, a product key swap or anything of the sort ? Any help will be appreciated, if anything else is required please let me know, i have the product keys, i have the Retail CD boxes, i can provide everything. also to note, this IS NOT THE ACCOUNT onto which i would like to redeem the game, so please if there is a "support sided fix" do contact me so i can provide you with the correct account.
Thank you everyone in advance and have a wonderful day.
Kind Regards
Akaro Namira
- @Akaro_Namira The Sims Medieval base game can only be redeemed on The Sims 3 website.
Log in to thesims3.com with the Origin login you’d like the account on, and at the bottom of the page look for “Register a Game”.
On that page you should be able to redeem the code if it’s valid and the game will show up in your Origin library.
Remember to log in to the Sims 3 website with the same login you use for the Origin account you want the game on.
