The Sims2 Ultimate Collection PACKAGE file type
Hello. I was given the The Sims2 Ultimate Collection many years ago after having issues with the CD versions of the game and Origin tech support said that will be my only option. With that being said, the EA replaced Origin some years now so I can only access the Ultimate Collection now through the EA app. I recently was forced to get a new laptop with Windows 11. The EA app installed successfully and I'm able to set up my neighbourhoods, et cetera, but I'm having an issue now with installing custom content using winRAR, which I've used for years on XP and Windows 10, but now the same contents are not being recognised by the game. I did the regular stuff which is to go to Documents folder, then to EA Games and then to The Sims2 Ultimate Collection, then create a Downloads folder. The content downloaded there are showing up as PACKAGE file type and the icon for each item looks like a white or blank page. Can you assist me in this regard? I would greatly appreciate some feedback because playing without CCs after using it for more years than I can count will be really horrible, seeing that I spend the majority of my time building neighbourhoods and houses.
