Good afternoon.
I am here to report a problem on an old game. I am playing "Urbz, Sims In the City" for the Dual Screen, having acquired it out of luck a few weeks ago in a Game Stop clearence bin. I set it up and began the game. The game loads properly and I select my Sim's traits, gender, etc. and begin the story.
I find myself on the roof and am informed of the imminent sale of the skyscraper. I play the Squeegee game and then escourt myself to the elevator. My Sim's Needs are falling fast and now my Sim is starving. No matter, I deduce, I will feed her in time. I make my way to the Penthouse and take the shower out, then I go to the floor where my Sim's boss resides. I greet her, fix the television, and am given the mission to find the Plans. Almost immediately after, my Sim's hunger bar reaches zero. She keels over and grips her stomach. I know enough about Sims DS and GBA games to know it means she will either be abducted or a djinn/genie will laught at me and I'll be put back in my bed.
There's only one problem. When she keels over and grips her stomach, she stands back up and keels over and grips her stomach again. This continues in an endless loop, with her sprites repeating exactly like an animated GIF. The game's time stops, I cannot save, and I cannot quit. Only by turning off the actual -DS or pressing the house button on the console can I exit the game and do anything else. While this frozen loop occurs, my Sim's boss walks around as if nothing happened. I assume that the game is meant to stop time and prevent saving in a case of Need(s) collapse to avoid glitching, but therein is the problem. She doesn't stop keeling over, and the game freezes in that loop.
What must I do?
Warm regards,
-TURTLESHROOM
P.S.: Don't you DARE tell me "just don't let her get hungry".
