Verifying game

Question

I have downloaded and installed sims 2 seasons succesfully and when i click 'open' or 'play' a message comes up which says 'sign in with your EA account to verify your ownership' , so i logged in and another message came up which said 'In order to launch the game, please log in to origin to verify your ownership, then try again'.

so i logged into origin and tried again and it still wouldnt work. Ive tried a few times and the same messages keep popping up

How may i resolve this?

I JUST went through this problem with EA. I was on the phone for about 2 hours to find out that they have to refund me as they no longer support any new downloads of "The Sims 2" - I don't understand why they even have it available in their system to buy still. You'll have to call the support team, like I did, and they will probably have to refund you also. It sucks because now I can't even play any of my expansion packs.
