My youngest and I will be celebrating it together with dinner at my apartment and simply being grateful for the time we had together, thankful that she is no longer suffering the many physical problems that eventually led up to her dying. We take comfort in the thought that her beautiful spirit lives on in a better place...and I, at least, hope to see her one day when my time comes.
We do need to take and live one day at a time.
