What year did you start playing your first The Sims game?

My first experience with TS was on the end of 2001. My mom bought me my own game on the early 2002. I remember that it was TS Deluxe Edition - Base Game + Livin’ Large. I had a break from the series between around 2010-2020. I played maybe a few times during that period.
