Definitely open world. That is a must for me. The game lacks a lot by not having it. I think also having more realism added back in. Just small details like being able to drive a car or get on the school bus would be so awesome. I also wish that they would bring back at least some form of customization to furniture and or Sims clothing. I can understand if they don't bring back the color wheel for Sim's physical appearance bc that is a lot and can be mitigated through cc. However being able to design custom patterns for furniture was always a little touch that I always enjoyed. I like the addition of social clubs to TS4 but, I wish that in TS5 it would be a standard base game feature. I wish they would bring back the mood scale from TS3 in addition to the moodlets from TS4. For example, you may be inspired but overall how are you doing? Are you inspired but not feeling the greatest bc your husband didn't clean up after dinner? I think it shouldn't be an either or but a combination of the two.
Finally more investment into making babies/toddlers, children, and teens more developed. I'm talking learning to drive, enforced curfew, interactions with babies, sleepovers, after school activities/clubs. The works.
EA, just spend time creating a good game from the jump. Don't give us a half built game that we have to either buy EPs and stuff packs to make enjoyable or wait for years of updates bc you are building the game while we play it.
