Me personally? I'll never decide I'm too old to play The Sims. No matter what, I need a good reason to abandon a franchise that I love.
Abandoning a franchise because the developers made some bad decisions? Perfectly understandable. Abandoning Nintendo because their corporate personality changed from caring, cheerful curators to greedy, competition-murdering narcissists? Objectively moral.
But abandoning the Sims series because I've simply "outgrown" something that brought me so much joy (and admittedly quite a bit of frustration) over the few years I've been playing? Completely unthinkable!
