You know, hate to say it, but this is why i do prefer using the Discs like in the Sims 2, and in the sims 3. At least it runs from the discs and not an app that could break.
Now Ahem, I do have the ultimate collection, and The legacy edition of both the sims 1, and 2. Originally, i wasn't going to buy 2, but in newer computers one may have to find loopholes to help the program install, and there might be a time where the discs don't work no more. But then you're still at the mercy of EA, or microsoft.
