Does anyone (if they are from my Gen) wish they could visit/learn about what their old (Elementary) teachers have been up too? All day I been walking down memory lane wanting to know about what (JK/SK) teacher is up too, or (Gr.1 teacher), or (Gr.2-who changed her name after she had us), or Gr.3 teacher (who left and had a baby but came back and taught the older "special Education" class when I was in Gr.8) or if (Gr. 4 teacher who retired at the end of the year he had us- but came back to make a tribute of sorts to the elementary school when it closed when I was graduating Gr.8) is still alive and Gr. 5 "fun teacher" who compared to the others (like at least the Grade Four teacher, and my 'history' teacher in Gr. 7&8) was younger at least in his early 30s. And of course "Candyman" my Grade Six teacher.
The only 2 I don't need to know about are: are (Gr. 8 "history" teacher since I had a separate Gr.7/8 split class with a different teacher) and the French Teacher (who I only had for 3 years of French before I was exempted from it) I can occasionally talk to them at my mom's plays at church.
I didn't/don't care much for (Gr.7&8 main teacher) or for (music teacher/VP from Gr.5-8/7-8)
@MadameLee: I've been spending a terrible amount of time trying to find my second grade teacher. She retired a couple years afterwards, and I haven't found any leads on her since. It's too bad. I don't know if she'd be impressed or disappointed with how I turned out, but I'd love to meet her again.
