So, I had 6 real saves (all with one .save file and four edit: five .ver files, which I know is perfectly normal and cool. I put those back into my game. Everything's hunky dory save-wise now). But I had 13 "empty" saves. When I loaded TS4 with those, it was as if I was playing a brand new game with no saves. None of them had the .save file -- only .ver files. I'm thinking they're my old games that I've deleted over time. I might throw one back into my saves folder and change the .verX to .save and see if it will load an old save. That's the only logical explanation I can think of for having 13 unrecognizable "saves" in-game. xD
@sabreene I think I'll start using 'Save As' more often...I never go back to a previous save as I generally play legacies (can't 're-do' anything) and I backup my saves on a flashdrive in case of a major problem. Since you said with 'Save As' you won't get any .ver files, is it safe to delete the current .ver files? The .save is the most 'up to date' save, right?
