I installed the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection with no issues, but everytime I try to open the game I get this pop-up message:(Header) The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff "The Sims 2 is not installed on this system, or some required files have been deleted. This expansion pack requires The Sims 2 in order to run. Please install The Sims 2 before attempting to run this application."I uninstalled the game and re-installed it as well, but the same problem happens.Help?!?

Had the same problem. open Origin and goto "My games", right click sims 2 and click "check for update". That worked for me.

I have the same problem but my is stranger coz in origin i have to download this game again! (?) When i already installed it and its on my disc.

That worked!
I updated twice and it finally launched.
However then the game kept crashing during the intro video.
So I also right clicked on The Sims 2 under My Games and clicked on Repair Game.
Then I restarted my computer and it worked with no issues!

I have the same problem. I've been using the repair game option and it works for a little while then it comes right back.

When I right click on my game it says check for update but its in grey and I cant click on it??

i've same issue, but it's no longer have repair button or anything else. There are only play or uninstall.

Thank you for this. I noticed my Sims 2 Ultimate Collection not working because i remove all the ealogo_audio files. Sims 2 doesn't like me doing that...
