Hi, I’m on one of the last tasks for this quest in my game and the sim I’m currently using for the quest is stuck and there is no progression bar over her head for the task she’s currently doing which is ‘hug plant’. I cannot cancel the interaction my sim is doing and I’ve also tried restarting the app and uninstalling the game and reinstalling and nothing has worked. Please help me figure out how to fix this.

I don't know how long you've been like this, but it's already solved for me, actually I didn't do anything and it spend a little more time than the mission said
Me too! For over a day now. I’m not sure what to do.
I’m reporting a bug, specifically with one of my sims freezing mid-task during the “hug the plant eater” in the discovery quest. I’ve tried mainly everything, from restarting my iPad to downloading the game again and making sure I have enough storage. I also did all the tips and tricks EA suggested I try to fix a bug. Now I’m writing on here to get outside help that’s not automated.

Has anyone gotten a solve for this?
So I’m not sure what to do I was on the last step of pretty little planters, my sim was hugging the plant and it glitches. I messaged fire monkey and they told me to go into the game and report it so I did. Haven’t heard anything. I deleted the game and re download it as well.
This issue has been reported to the developers.
There is unfortunately no workaround as far as I know, but if any of you find one, please share it here so other can also benefit.
