2 female sims can't have a baby?

I have a married couple (two females) and a crib in the household which only contains the two of them. It gives me the option on the town map to add another SIM to the house but every time I try to add the baby to the crib it's greyed out and says an adult has to be present despite there being two?

  • withlovelyss   Usually the gender doesn’t matter. Even a male couple can get a baby, just not with a pregnancy.
Is the couple that’s supposed to have a baby living in the house with the crib?

  • I think when you have same sex couples you only have the option to adopt. Try adding a male sim to the house hold then click the crib you can always delete your male sim or move him to another house.
