Kitchen Counter Bug

I've been trying to buy wellspring library for months. Everytime I collect enough and go to purchase the library the price has increased, it has done this multiple times, and has increased again since messaging support. The price is now over 14,000 when I first started collecting it was just over 4,000. What's the deal?? Is this normal??
Can't add Babies
Hi, I was adding a Baby with two married sims, but then one of the parents died. I accidentally deleted the other parent before the baby was finished. Now I can't find any baby progress in any of the cribs and I can't add a new baby because the game tells me that a baby is already in progress. Do anybody knows what to do?
I can't complete the task to help two special characters
In order to save up for building a room in the police career, I reset the specialty level. Now I can't complete the task to help two special characters, because I don't have enough specialty level to complete the character with the question mark. It doesn't reset after the end of the shift and the dismissal of characters, and other special tasks do not appear because of it. What should I do?
