So, when you are in the Sims Freeplay app and click the tasks menu that says, let's say, "4 active tasks" at the bottom, the menu attached to my post pops up: You see in the upper left hand corner t...
I'm not sure why you're not getting LPs from the daily videos. Here is a suggestion and screenshot of how I make 5 to 10 LPs a day. I have at least 10, but usually 20, of my sims doing the cooking hobby. As you can see from the screenshot I have 10 of them one house that is dedicated to just this hobby. I usually have them cooking the 20min meal, but the one min and five min meals allow you to earn faster.
Thank you so much! I think I'll have to do that. It's definitely something with the update that is causing this but that is an issue that can't really be solved.
With the cooking hobby, if one of your sims ends up collecting -all- of the items, can you "reset" the hobby to get the same LP's and XP's awards, again? Or is it like, "You get LP's the first time you complete the hobby but not after you reset it." If you're confused, just say and I can try to clarify what I mean.
I know for the fashion and makeup artist hobbies they can reset the hobby.
You have to reset the hobby every time it is completed (when you get all of the dishes). Open the hobby and click the bar at the top. All hobbies can be reset. When you do them over and over you get anywhere from 3 to 6 LPs depending on the hobby. The cooking hobby is just the best to earn LPs fast.
@martha4858, out of curiousity, how did you get so much LP, XP, and Simoleons? I had to make my sims garden corn/work for a week straight to earn a million and I have about 35 LP's from leveling up alone (because of the dumb thing with the video not giving LP anymore)
So as I said in my previous post I have at least twenty sims doing the cooking hobby. I have two houses set up just for that hobby. When I need to I will change some of them over to another hobby, such as the recent chocolate hobby. But as soon as that is over my sims are right back cooking. Once a day I will send all the adult sims to work and the teens to school. I have all my adult sims doing the Actor job, because that is the job that earns the most money. If I need to, for a weekly task, I will change some of the jobs, but again as soon as that is over they're right back doing the acting job. In the middle of the night everyone is gardening.
As for social points, I don't really do those so I will admit to buying some of them to get my VIP level up. But now that I'm at a level 8 I get a daily free spend and can earn a few SPs that way.
So basically this is my Sims day:
Elderly sims (I have 4) cook all day until about 10 at night then they grow beans until the morning.
Adult sims - go to work during the day, cook until about 10, and then grow beans until the morning.
Teen sims - school during the day, cook until 10, and then grow beans. (Sometimes I let them watch TV all night)
Its important for you to keep all their needs in the green so they earn the most money at work and gardening.
Another thing - I've been playing this game since it first came out - so I have done all of the quests and have created platinum orbs for all my sims so they don't age or die.
Also remember that when you have to change a sims job or hobby to meet a task or quest when you change it back they have to start over for the hobby and they are at level 4 for the job, but they will earn an LP when they max out the level.
Let me know if you need clarification on anything.
