Every time I try to add a baby by tapping on a crib, I get the message:
“A new Sim is being added to town”
However, I’ve checked all my houses and I do not have any active crib, no baby in progress, and no Sim currently being created.
I’ve checked every house, every floor, including basements and backyards — there is no crib anywhere.
I also checked the Sim Tracker and didn’t find any pending Sim.
I’m not at the Sim limit, and I have free space in my town.
What is your house hold limit? if you are at maximum you can not add a baby to that house. You can add it to another house that is not at full capacity
Example, your house hold limit is 4 and you try to add another sim/baby to the house and that will not work unless you reach VIP5 or 14, relocate one of the sims in the house or ask the sim to move out of town, Hose hold is the number os sims living on the lot, you can have visitors and the limit is 11 per lot
Is one of your sims pregnant? that will count as a sim and you can not see it in the sim tracker
None of them are pregnant and I am not at capacity at all.
It seems like that as if one of them pregnant or a new one is coming to a crib but there isn't. I checked everything. Every house, every crib, there is no such thing
There are different error messages, when the game refuses to add a baby or an adult Sim. I guess, you got the number 1 that’s shown in my screenshot, and all of the existing cribs in your town have a gray bubble?
I can only tell, what I would try, to solve this.
First I’d force close the game, clear the cache and soft reset the device, before trying again. If that didn’t help, I’d go through all houses again and take all cribs into inventory. When searching something in my town, I tend to forget to look at the Yachts, penthouses and in basements 🙈

This is exactly my problem. I have sear hed everywhere possible again and again. I have reset the device or delete the app downloaded it again from the cloud several times and nothing help unfortunately 😔
