android 7.0 unable to update

Has anyone else had issues updating freeplay on Android version 7.0?  It disappeared from my app store, and when I figured out how to view the listing it said it wasn't compatible?  Everything I've read about this new update says that they've only discontinued for 4.0 and earlier.  I'm updating to 8.0 now but I would have been really frustrated if I didn't anticipate this update coming out and looked into it.  There's no reason why it shouldn't work on a device that's less than 2 years old. -_-
