Upcoming updates

I wish there was a better way to be informed when new events and upcoming updates are coming. I see in the news tab in the mail when I am in the game that there is a update coming but the link is on social media like facebook. I now look on this forum, youtube and google (because I don't do the other social media. I just found a post on youtube with the news of the upcoming update in September.
