Balconies without railings

Can anyone tell me how to create balconies without railings?

I see lots of houses in the architect store with this as a way of creating split level flat roofs, but when I try to do the same with my own designs I get a message saying you can't have a balcony without railings.

    There are railings in the game that look like there is no one. Those were prizes in the Live Event “Mid-Century Mansion” in July 2024.

    Ah, thanks. I missed that event, so I don't have that option. Hope they repeat it soon.
