Campfire in Fairyland
Christmas update: I have collected enough flowers and coins but my campfire is still locked and I am unable to build it. Am I missing something or is this a glitch?

Someone else has this problem, So I think it might be a glitch. Try rebooting your device or restarting your game app. If this doesn't work contact support. http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-FreePlay/INFORMATION-The-Sims-FreePlay-Support/td-p/1877383
I just opened the campfire. The problem is that the amount of flowers and constructor coins are wrong. It says that you need 3450 flowers and 43 constructor coins ( or something like that) but getting that amount doesn't unlock the campfire. Keep an eye on the bar above. Itll tell you how many more flowers you need to unlock. I just had to collect for another 1-2 hours to get the right amount.

Yes you have to hit the milestone in the upper bar before you can build any venues. Even if you have enough resources.
