Can’t click on sim and won’t finish task

Playing sims FreePlay on my iPhone and certain sims I can not click on when they are doing a task. So u can’t click then and then decide to cancel the task or use LPs to finish it quicker. It just won’t click them at all. It is only a couple of the sims though. I can click on the rest. And now one of those sims says it has finished its task but the game isn’t registering it or whatever when I go to that sims location. And I can’t even click on the sim to finish the task with an LP so it’s just stuck at the flashing finish stage
