Can't access online store in Sims freeplay

Question

For years now I have been trying to access the online store to make purchases but can't. Every time I press the store icon, it shows up for 1 second and back off. It's been the same issue for years. What could the problem be? I don't know if the region or country you're living is a factor. Please help.

Parental tools for the device?
Do you allow in-app purchases?
Is the payn´ment methode up to date? Valid card or credentials?

Some countries does not allow any Sims games, you can download it from other countries (VPN) but you can not make purchases in local currency
