Can't finish Its All Going Swimmingly, Wumples stuck in corner

I'm trying to finish the It's All Going Swimmingly quest but my sims can't talk to Wumples as she is standing in a corner facing the wall, whenever I try to get a sim to talk to her the blue feet appear. How can I get Wumples to move so I can get a sim to talk to her and gm finish the quest?!

A couple of suggestions:

try closing the game and restarting.

Try rebooting your device.

I've tried both of these and Wumples is still in the corner!
