easter egg hunt

I've been trying to hunt for easter egg for four days now. The problem happens when I order my sims to hunt for easter eggs, but when I exit the game and go back on it, they aren't even searching for eggs and no notification pops up that they finished the task. I've tried to order them to hunt, and then uploaded the data to the cloud but that still didn't solve the issue. It really sucks because I wanted the bunny onesies and pjs but now there's less than an hour left ☹️
