Enhanced Lighting missed - update

Hello,

I would like to report what appears to be a compatibility issue introduced with the latest update.

I am playing on an iPad 9th generation (A13 Bionic) running iPadOS 26.5. Until the latest Sims FreePlay update, Enhanced Lighting worked perfectly on my device and I used it extensively when designing my homes.

Since the update, the option has disappeared completely and the game now displays the message:

“The visuals are not supported on this Apple device: A13.”

What is confusing is that this feature was working flawlessly before the update, so my device is clearly capable of running it.

In addition, the game now crashes regularly whenever I try to open the Daily Rewards / Daily Gifts section.

Both issues started immediately after installing the latest update.

Could you please confirm whether:

• this is a known bug,
• support for A13 devices was intentionally removed,
• or if a fix is currently being investigated?

I have been playing Sims FreePlay for many years, and the Enhanced Lighting feature significantly improved the visual experience. It would be disappointing to lose access to it on a device that previously supported it without any issues.
