Google Play Account

When I first started playing Sims Freeplay, my game data was registered under my parent's email account on Google Play. I didn't have my own email address that time. Now that I have it, how can I transfer the game data registered under my parent's email account to my email account on Google Play? (So that when I transfer my data to a new device I can play the game under my account.)

Ok if you don't understand my situation here's an explanation🙂

1. NOW, my Sims Freeplay game is registered under my parent's account connected to Google Play. So, all my game data is saved under my parent's Google Play account.

2. I got my own email account, also connected to Google Play. Now that I want to move my game to a new device, I want to save the data under MY account so when I start playing it on my new device the data is saved to my account.

Is there anyway to do this?

Thank you have a gd day!🥳

  • Easiest way would be to connect the game through FB

Connect the game to your FB

Green ... Keyhole, sign out of your parents Google

Download the game to your device

    Upload your game from FB

You should be able to connect it to Your Google now as well

Another way that should work is to add Your Google account to your parents device in the device settings

Switch to Your account for the device

Sign out of your parents google in the game and sign into Yours

This is not the best way as having multiple Google accounts active on the same device can confuse things

Also, when you set up the game on your device, make yourself an adult for the game (when they ask your age), otherwise some functions may be locked

The email is not the important thing about the Google, the account is. You will connect the game through Google Play, You will handle downloads and purchases through Google Play Store, almost everything you do online will be connected to Your google: YT, browser bookmarks, forums etc

Having your own Google means You pay for things you might want to buy as the money will be drawn from Your Google (you can connect your parents card to Your google if they consent, so they will still pay for your games if you do not have a card of your own)

I would talk to your parents about this, consult them on what is safe and what is risky to connect to Your Google, if they will allow you to use their card (sometimes even free stuff requires a registered card for downloads) and so on

    Good Luck and Happy Gaming
