Have a Good Scrub in a Neighbor's Shower

This social task has been up for weeks.  I have had every one of my SIMS take a good scrub in a neighbor's shower, sometimes repeatedly and this task never resolves!  

I even found one SIMS shower that kept running all the time.  I had neighbor SIMS use it, I had that SIM have a good scrub in a neighbor's shower.  What gives?  How do you actually get this task to end??
