Health Spa causes Sims FreePlay to crash – Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

I am experiencing a reproducible crash when trying to enter the Health Spa workplace.

Every time I tap the Health Spa to enter, Sims FreePlay immediately crashes back to the tablet's home screen. The rest of the game is playable.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.

I have already:

restarted the tablet;

closed background apps;

cleared the game's cache;

completely reinstalled Sims FreePlay;

confirmed my save is backed up;

tested entering the Spa with a new Sim, with exactly the same result.

Therefore, the crash does not appear to be related to a particular Sim or profession assignment. It occurs specifically when the Health Spa location attempts to load.

This is affecting several areas of gameplay, including Spa job progression, SimTown Market activities, Daily Tasks (including “Help 2 Sims at the Spa”), and Season Pass objectives/rewards involving the Spa.

EA Support has now confirmed that my report has been logged for investigation, but no workaround or timeframe has been provided.

Has anyone else experienced this exact Health Spa crash recently, particularly on Android/Samsung tablets?

I would also appreciate it if an EA community manager could confirm whether this is a known issue and whether it has been escalated to the development team.
