Is there a way to skip or cancel hobbies on Sims Freeplay?

Does anyone know if there is a way to skip a hobby and continue to the next one without missing skills needed to complete other hobbies.  I am currently stuck at the ghost hunting hobby.  I do not want to participate in this hobby, yet I cannot find a way to cancel it.  It looks like there are a number of hobbies in the que waiting for me to complete it, like the aging ability, and etc.  Please help!  Is there a way I can bypass it.  I also do not want to complete the wizard section.  Will I miss anything of importance??  If there is a way to cancel or bypass please let me know.  Thank you - Nitaz02
