Lost game ☹

I have a nokia Lumia 1020 which I have recently had to have replaced due to an error, the nokia's have an xbox account linked in and on my old Lumia I had reached quite a high level on my sims freeplay and was doing the quest for preteens. When I signed in to my Xbox account on my new phone it downloaded Sims freeplay but when I clicked load saved data from the cloud it says that it was unable to connect, so I reluctantly started a new game which to be honest I have no interest in. Today I clicked the achievements bit on the menu and all of my achievements from my previous game are there! Is there any way that I could get my old game back? I know it seems silly but I grew quite attached to my sims and it feels like I have lost my babies, so if there's any way I can get them back I would really really love to know!!
