Need to back up but can't use cloud

Hi

My son plays SIMS FreePlay on a Hudl2. I really need to do a factory reset on it and can see I can back up all other game data (Minecraft) on scdard/Android/data/...

However, the folder for the SIMS games is empty on the SD card and on the device it will not let me copy it locally or move it to a computer when I plug it in.

I've tried using the Cloud back up but as it's a restricted child profile he plays under it won't let me (and under my profile it obviously only syncs my data) so I seem to be stuck. Under the app settings I've moved it to the SD card which I could remove to preserve it when doing a factory reset but the sims folder on the SD card is empty so I fear it'll be lost.

Please help. I have an 8 year old who's frustrated by his slow tablet but doesn't want to lose all his sims efforts if I do a reset.
