Placing Patio fence.

I have a 3 sided house. In the centre I have a pool. I put a patio around the pool, I wish to put a fence along the fourth side to enclose the pool, from house wall  to house wall.. Every time I attempt to do this, I get the fence I want AND another fence that goes all around the pool. This other fence I do not want.......any suggestions?

Suggestion to EA....it would be more helpful if we could build a fence, panel at a time, rather than automatic completion.
