Pretty little planters glitch

Please help me, I recently visited a friends town and happened to click on the mall (which I haven't built yet). Then all of a sudden I had the pretty little planters quest which I shouldn't have till I have built the mall. I don't know what to do, do I reset my game or what ?

    You will need to contact the support team for this issue with the Pretty little planters. Please note that the studio is experiencing delays in responding so they may take a few days to come back to you.

    I'm stuck on this quest too....Has anyone gotten a reply from tec support. I have submitted a ticket and haven't got a reply. Curious if there's a fix for this! 😠
