Questions about Social Tasks

Is "the purge" what I'm experiencing? All my FB neighbours just vanished after a recent update. Do you have any more details? EDIT I separated the two lasts replies so it don't get lost in the sim...

The most obscure task I've had is sliding down the fireman's pole, and that needed the hammock on the tropical island.

I had to do a web search to work out how to finish that one!
