Sims FreePlay Update Not Downloading

I’ve been trying to update Sims FreePlay on my phone but I continually get an error. My WiFi connection is fine. I’ve turned my phone off and back on again. But I’m still getting the message. I can’t even open the app without downloading. Help EA

if you use a VPN, turn it off, it sometimes helps

I tried all of these steps. I’m still having the same issue. 

I deleted the game and reinstalled it and now it works fine. Thank you!

I’ve deleted the App, re downloaded, updated my ios, downloaded another app and I am still getting the connection server error when it updated to 96%.
