The "Easiest" way I know, and please, understand that easy doesn't mean "rolling in LP", it to level up cooking.

Get 2 or 3 sims trained up in cooking.  And cook the 1 minute cheese on toast thing.  3 ovens, side-by-side.  Fill you the 'chart' of 12 things.  When complete.  Reset the chart.  Complete the chart, get 5 LP.  Each time you complete the chart in cooking you get 5LP.  (Apparently it's easier with ghost hunting, but I haven't gotten that far yet!)

Otherwise, watch the 4 ads per day.
