My game is doing this same basically. The quest says exactly:
'HUG A NEIGHBOURS CAT.
Cats are friendly wherever they go. Send one of your sims to hug a neighbours cat.'
I have done this multiple times but it's not registering the fact that I have done it. I even done the other options it comes up with when you click on the cat in case the quest was said wrong but that doesn't have any effect neither.
I figured maybe it means neighbour by some other sim in YOUR town but I don't own a cat and it wouldn't really make sense because it's a task for your friends towns. I'll still try it anyways when I can afford the cat but until then if anyone has any answers please help x
- I have gone to a Facebook neighbors town and hugged their cat many times and the task still will not clear as if I have done it.
- I tried it again. I went to the party boat and chose another sim and a different cat. That time it worked.
