according to their Facebook post there will be a 7 day grace period that you can finish what you've started building or build the venues you have opened, as long has you have the resources. You will not be able to collect more resources.

That's sad. You can build the unlocked buildings within a week but since you can't gather resources, the buildings are effectively lost forever if you don't have the resources or Social Points.
