Now that I'm in The Orchard house lot tasks in Rustic Acres, there seems to be an error with tasks involving multiple sims. In the past for events like these, you can have 10 sims at one location and others at previous locations to complete a task with, say, 19 sims faster. For Rustic Acres, that doesn't seem possible. If I go to Clover Cottage while Sims are already doing the task at The Orchard, that same task doesn't appear at the cottage site. Is there a fix for this?

It‘s the same for all players. In Sim Springs we could use all available lots, in Rocky Heights we can‘t. I asked on Discord, if it‘s different to Sim Springs. But it‘s weekend and I don‘t expect a reply before Monday. I really wonder whether it‘s intended or something the developers forgot.There are two tasks for 19 Sims on day 5: One takes 5 minutes, the other 3 minutes. It doesn‘t hurt to do them twice 🙂There will come up other tasks that last longer. All we can do for now is to use 3-star objects and have fully inspired Sims for all tasks. Make sure to be back to them at the right time.

minicha-em, I did write on Discord twice, but we’re also asked to report issues at this forum. Sure, players can’t help with this, but the effected ones may feel a bit better, if they see, they’re not alone 🙂 Yes, it won‘t hurt to do tasks twice if they are below 10 minutes. But there are tasks coming up that take up to 4 hours. Even with inspired Supersims it takes up to 7 hours instead of 4. Those tasks show up in the Zest Zone, so it‘s important to get the tasks done within 24 hours.All those tasks show, they can be done in Rustic Acres, which means all unlocked houses. Just like it was in Sim Springs. Players are upset, because it doesn’t work this way and they can‘t rely on the text and times mentioned in the game. There was an update in the App Stores today. I don‘t know what it is for, but it didn’t change anything for this issue.I have attached some screenshots, so you can see what players are talking about.

@ErinPW Thank you, this has been driving me crazy for two days - I thought it was just me/my game. I'm on day 9, "nuturing plants," and time will run out if I have to continue repeating tasks like this - which ultimately will prevent me from completing Rustic Acres and Rocky Heights. I have been ingame chatting with Freeplay support. There was no explanation other than a request for me to send a screenshot - which I did not have. I attached and sent them your screenshot of the above, to better explain.

They're not all that short, no. Coming up is the task to find socks where you can use 17 sims but it will take 4-5+ hours depending on star rating and inspiration.

@TeddyTotz I experienced the same issue on Days 8 & 9. I contacted ingame support, received a reply that only asked for a screenshot, sent one, then sent additional information that multiple players are having the same issue, and have not heard further from support. The task today was "nuturing plants," approx. 2-1/2 hours (used the 3-star plants), had to do it twice.

I am experiencing what I think is a bug for the development of Rustic Acres. I was able to complete Clover Cottage in time for the zesty prize, and I’m now working on The Orchard. But the task I am currently on is “Find 32 Socks on household objects in Rustic Acres. Up to 16 Sims can help.” It says the task can be done at Rustic Acres and doesn’t specify it can only be done just at The Orchard house. With my current level I can only have 12 Sims at a house at any given time. As tasks continue for development, the number of Sims required for a task is increasing, as is the time required to complete these tasks. If I can only use one house in Rustic Acres, I will not be able to complete larger tasks within the time limits.

In previous map development for Sim Springs, as tasks required large numbers of Sims and time, some of those tasks allowed you to use more than one home in the neighborhood to complete them, but this does not seem to be possible in Rustic Acres. This has to be a bug, unless it is intentional on the part of EA games to force you to use SP to quick complete tasks for Rustic Acres to meet time requirements. I can see on the forum that other people are experiencing this same issue, so I am not the only one.

The attached screenshots show the task I’m actively working on, but with only 12 sims I can use at The Orchard, and the inability to see a task to “find socks” with 4 more sims at the previously completed Clover Cottage, I’ll have to repeat the task a second time at The Orchard with 4 more sims when the first 12 finish.

I’ve had exactly the same issue.
I’ve no idea how to report it to ea so I’m hoping other people like you are reporting it and they offer a solution. So thank you.
I will keep this post open in the hope that if they get back to you you’ll let us know

Could you tell me where you found the correct area to go to submit a ticket? I looked everywhere yesterday! I know I have submitted a ticket successfully before (but it was a long time ago).

In your game tap the three dots at the bottom of the screen, then info and then Online Support. You may find more ways at Hero minicha-em‘s posts on the first page of this thread.

Hello,
There seems to be a glitch with the new Rocky Heights community. When completing tasks on the second property, I was unable to use the first property to complete tasks requiring more than 13 Sims. Previously all lots could be used to complete these tasks. Now, it takes twice to time, making it impossible to complete within the allocated time.

Rocky heights is not Sim Springs - they do not work the same way

You can only complete the tasks in one lot, having to do it twice when the number is over 11 sims required

Take it up with support. they prefer the in-game contact method - there is a square chat bubble you can use

You can also bring it up in the official Discord or tweet at the Gurus on X

This forum is provided by EA but is designed as Player helping Player, in this case we can not do much for you

Agreed, I’m on Day 9 in the nurturing plants task and it’s impossible to complete all tasks in time if I can’t use both lots in Rustic Acres.
