Sims - Not Receiving Rewards for Items purchased

I built the sport and skate preteen shop in the mall but the actual store stuff that is supposed to unlock, does not show up in wardrobe or store. I was told to Uninstall and reinstall the game to see if that would fix the issue, but it has not been fixed. I keep having game play issues with not getting the Rewards. 

There was also 3 other instances where I purchased 2 different preteen jacket and another instance with some shoes where I was charged the life points and social points but they did not appear in wardrobe.
