sims 4 (7/9/15) new update wont open sims up

Hi @carolbeavis

I assume you're talking about Sims Freeplay, not sims 4, since you posted on this board and sims 4 isn't played on a kindle fire. You can remove and reinstall the game and not loose much data if you have recently saved to the cloud. Other things you might try is to reboot your device and close all apps. If none of this helps you need to contact support.

A BIG thank you.

It was the sims freeplay I have, so I took a deep breath and pressed the uninstall button.

Then I proceeded to the cloud icon fortunately the game on the kindle fire saves data automatically when the game is exited , but I wasn't sure if it had.

Read the instructions on what to do and it loaded back up.

All I have lost is the romance island update , but that's updated ok now.

So pleased that there are people out there who take the time to help others.
